Entrance exams in Slovakia

We often talk about entering public universities in Slovakia, without passing any exams. This is the case in most cases, but there are exceptions.

To become a student of some specialties, entrants must pass exams. This is most often the case:

• Creative specialties;
• Specialty where there is a word “international”: international governance, international relations, etc;
• Journalism;
• Some economic specialties;
• Some medical fields.

Exams are usually held in the form of testing and creative competitions. If you still decide to enter the specialty with an entrance exam – we will be sure to let you know and provide all the necessary material to prepare for the exams.
