The main advantages of education in Slovakia

  • external evaluation results are not important in consideration of educational success
  • the high level of education in Slovak universities is primarily due to good funding for education. In Slovakia, the education sector is a priority for the state. Therefore, despite the fact that Slovakia is not one of the richest countries in the European Union, education is funded sufficiently. Slovakia’s accession to the European Union has also significantly contributed to raising the level of Slovak higher education institutions and integrating the educational process into the European one.
  • opportunity to receive motivational payment and scholarships for success from 600-1500 euros
  • diplomas of accredited universities of a country that is a member of the European Union. Slovakia has international agreements with many leading countries on mutual recognition of diplomas.
  • an important condition of the Free Student program is that universities will provide places for all our students to live.
  • an important item of expenditure is student nutrition. Prices for products in stores in Slovakia are affordable. Meals in cafes and restaurants on average are from 4 to 8 Euros per person. In the canteens of the university for our students there are complex lunches of three dishes at a subsidized price of about 1.5 € per person.
  • the problem for our students in many European countries is that they are issued student visas to study and it is clear that after graduation the student is obliged to return to the country from which he came. It is extremely important that students in Slovakia are not granted a student visa, but a residence permit in Slovakia, which not only opens the possibility of free movement throughout Europe and many other countries, but also allows over time to apply for permanent residence, which is in fact equal in rights to citizenship of the European Union, except for the right to vote in elections. And then it is possible to obtain citizenship.
  • Slovakia is an extremely tolerant country. It opens the door to free education for people from all over the world. Currently, there are students from Vietnam, India, and Ukraine studying in the country and showing good results after graduation. Not only classmates, but also the teachers will always be at your side and help you with any problem.
  • the biggest advantage is that you can stay here and find a great job, even in foreign companies. This is a great start for your career.
  • it is important that during their studies (including during vacations), students have the right to work officially if they wish, which gives them the opportunity to earn well. The Slovak state, in an attempt to help students find employment, has introduced preferential taxation of students’ salaries. Employers are happy to hire students because they have the opportunity to save significantly on employee payroll taxes.
  • the best students receive awards (scholarships) from the state. There is a real opportunity for our students to receive a scholarship within the framework of the national scholarship program approved by the Government of the Slovak Republic. Also, public universities have their own scholarship programs, which can be found directly at the university. The main condition for receiving a scholarship in any case is successful study.
  • all participants of the Free Student program, who will take language courses, receive our consulting support during the entire period of study.
  • it is important that according to the agreement with Slovak universities under the Free Student program, during the first year of study, teachers will be loyal to students. As practice shows, in the second year of study our students show no worse results than the Slovaks.
  • The high level of security in Slovakia is important, as the Slovak Republic is one of the lowest crime rates in the European Union. There is no terrorist threat.
